Dear Guild Members:
Unfortunately, yet another media company has decided that jerking our members around is how you show them how much you value them.
Today our fellow Guild members at the New York Times are showing their disgust with this tactic and standing up for themselves with a one-day strike.
Please join me in showing them Philly has their back at a virtual rally from 2 to 2:30 today.
And please, do not forget our striking colleagues in Pittsburgh, who are standing up for what’s right at great personal sacrifice.
Our bargaining is right around the corner. The Inquirer would do well not to take a page from the Post-Gazette or Times playbook.

The New York Times editorial unit is taking strike action and walking off the job for 24 hours on Thursday. Here’s why TNG is organizing a Solidarity Rally and inviting Guild folks across the country to come on zoom for 1/2 an hour, Join and meet the NYT Strikers and get an update from the picket line. Time to show the Guild at its best – supporting each other!
