LAYOFF PLANS CANCELED!!
Dear Friends:
Stop and let out a collective exhale: The layoffs that were planned for this week will not be happening.
The Company just held a brief meeting with the two of us to say it “doesn’t make sense” to proceed with job eliminations at this time.
Given the election results, the Company said it intends to revisit its budgeting and business plans for 2021.
It said it has made no decisions about whether job cuts would be necessary in 2021 but at this time everyone is safe.
Thank you all for doing such a great job during the election and through these extraordinarily tough times.
Now, again, breathe.
And wear a mask.
And practice social distancing.
And please, if you need N95 masks, let us know. We have hundreds.
